Fundraising 
FOR FALL/WINTER REGULAR SEASON

1. SKATERS MAY BUY OUT THEIR FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT AT ANY TIME IN THE AMOUNT OF $100 EACH WITH NO MAXIMUM THIS YEAR. THERE IS ALSO A CAP PER FAMILY OF 5 FUNDRAISERS TOTAL. YOU MAY ALSO SIGN UP TO BE A VOLUNTEER ON THE LFSC BOARD WHICH WILL TAKE CARE OF ANY FUNDRAISING FOR THE YEAR.

2. ALL FUNDRAISING BUY OUTS WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH RAMP AND IF YOU DO NOT FULFILL YOUR COMMITMENT BY THE END OF YOUR SESSION IT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. A FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL PARENTS BEFORE YOUR CHILD ENTERS THE ICE. 

3. PreCanSkate and CanSkate require 1 FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT no matter how many weeks or days per week you skate. If you choose, you may buy this out at $100

4. Powerskating program does not require a fundraising commitment

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE OUR FUNDRAISERS FOR THIS YEAR (subject to change)

  • September-November PURDY'S CHOCOLATES ONLINE ONLY (minimum $200)
  • December 6, 2017 6:30pm-7:30pm SKATE-A-THON (minimum $100)
  • January-February WILHAUK BEEF JERKY (minimum $200) 
  • February 19, 2018 5:30pm-6:30pm SKATE-A-THON (minimum $100)
  • April 2018 LEDUC MEATS FUNDRAISER (minimum $300)


We will also have volunteer posistions available on a first come first served basis (minimum 4 hour commitment)

Each of the following programs requires a specific number of fundraisers based on the program duration and number of skate times each week.

ITS (Intro to STARSkate) 2 day/week = 2 fundraisers
ITS (Intro to STARSkate) 3 day/week = 3 fundraisers

Junior STARSkate 2 day/week = 2 fundraisers
Junior STARSkate 3 day/week = 3 fundraisers
Junior STARSkate 4 -6 day/week= 3 fundraisers

Intermediate/Senior STARSkate 1 day/week = 1 fundraisers
Intermediate/Senior STARSkate 2 day/week = 2 fundraisers
Intermediate/Senior STARSkate 3-6 day/week = 3 fundraisers

Skate Canada Fees

All skaters must be members of Skate Canada. This involves an annual fee as set by Skate Canada, currently $38.00. Your membership is valid Sept 1st - Aug 31st every year. The fee will automatically be added into your total when you register for the 2017/2018 skating year.

Declined payments/NSF cheques

There will be a $25.00 administration fee for NSF cheques. CREDIT CARD: In all cases of decline (NSF, declined credit, stopped payment, etc.) one additional attempt will be made by CLUB administration. If payment continues to be declined the skater will be considered not in good standing with the club and will not be permitted to participate in any CLUB activity, including regular skating sessions, until such time as full payment has been made. If payment has not been made within 30 days from date of decline or NSF, the member shall be considered as having terminated their membership. No refunds will be provided for any partial monies paid. 


Cancellation/Refund/Fee Policy

No refunds after the third day of classes (unless accompanied by a Doctors note)

The Skate Canada Fee in non-refundable

Classes may be pro-rated if you are starting after the first session.

This is at the discretion of the Registrar

There will be a $15 administration fee for cancelling after the first class starts 

There will be a $5 administration fee for cancelling before the first class starts
