Effective October 8, 2020

Mask up, Leduc! Effective October 8, 2020, face coverings are mandatory in all publicly accessible buildings and vehicles within Leduc city limits.

The Face Coverings Bylaw was enacted because the City of Leduc reached the minimum threshold of 10 active, confirmed cases of COVID-19 according to provincial statistics. The bylaw will now remain in effect until Leduc City Council passes a motion to deactivate this preventive health measure.

It is such an honour to have been able to open up our 2020 Fall Session Registration this morning.  The Leduc Figure Skating Club Board of Directors has worked tirelessly to ensure that our Coaching Staff, Skaters, Parents and Volunteers will be safe while participating in our programs.

As we move forward, we ask for your understanding as we navigate through this season. It is going to look much different this year than it has before. We look forward to seeing you and your skaters back at the arena for some amazing lessons!  If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

COVID-19 Update - June 11, 2020

As we continue on in June, the LFSC is happy to be back with some of our skaters in a new way - with some dryland training and our newest addition, a rollerblade program for our PowerSkaters.
As the province moves into Phase 2 of the Relaunch, we are waiting for further direction from the City of Leduc, Skate Canada: Alberta-NWT/Nunavut and the Province about the Return to Skating in a consistent and safe manner.
The Return to Skating will not be straightforward, but we appreciate your patience and support throughout the process.
