FALL REGISTRATIONS OPENS AUGUST 23RD!

Hello Skating Families!!
We are so excited to announce that registration for our 2023/2024 Season will open on Wednesday, August 23rd at 9am. We are offering Fall options for our PreCanSkate, CanSkate, PowerSkate, ITS and Adult classes. In addition, we will be opening registration for our StarSkate season (September through March). Details for each class option can be seen below as well as on our website, www.leducfigureskating.com.
AGM - September 20th
Please join us for our upcoming AGM! It is on Wednesday, September 20th at 7:30pm in the LPH Board room in the Leduc Recreation Centre. All members are welcome to attend. We have several board positions open this season. Benefits for being a board member include having all fundraising requirements waived for the year. New this year, board members are also eligible for program fee credits! An additional volunteer opportunity includes joining our Carnival Committee. This committee will help plan our year end carnival that is scheduled for March of 2024. For further questions regarding board membership or the carnival committee, please reach out to president@leducfigureskating.
Skate Canada Fees
All skaters must be members of Skate Canada. The Skate Canada season runs from September 1st through August 31st of each year. Therefore, all fall classes will have an annual Skate Canada fee included at the time of checkout. This Skate Canada fee will still apply to registered skaters for any addition classes in the winter, spring and summer sessions of the 2023/2024 season. This annual fee is set by Skate Canada and is automatically charged at the time of registration. Skate Canada has increased this fee significantly for the 2023/2024 season. To try and offset this change, the Leduc Skating Club has elected to freeze our class fees at last season’s rates despite changes in ice and coaching fees.
